Torquil co-founded Sybarite with Simon Mitchell in 2002, their steely focus has always been retail: architecture, interior design and retail strategy. Organically, this has led to hospitality and lifestyle projects that synchronise with the hybrid retail experience. Since 2012, Torquil has overseen Sybarite's relationship with leading Chinese retail operators, SKP. Sybarite is the architectural partner for SKP and SKP-S - working across retail, hospitality and several brand extensions. Torquil's holistic approach to architecture and design purposefully blurs the boundaries between the arts, creating a cohesive experience between brand and customer.
