The architectural image is like two wings spreading to the city, abstracting the state of flapping wings to fly. Its fluctuating photovoltaic roof is integrated with the building, hoping for the beautiful vision of "displaying the wings of the future and gathering the light of science". In order to avoid the excessive length of the interface along the street, an outdoor north-south corridor is set in the middle of the building to connect the urban corner space with the park. The functional attributes of the first floor for public services and the layout running north and south make the boundary blurred, organically integrated into the city and become a part of the block. Similarly, the public space with conference function and the hotel lobby arranged on the north-south central axis of the second floor are open to the urban interface with a large flow of people. The open space of the building is linked with the square and park of the city in terms of sight and traffic as a whole, forming a continuous organizational structure. People understand the building in the city and feel the city in the building. The relationship between architecture and people is more closely related. Architects maximized the greening aesthetics and created the first public construction project in Shanghai to pass the evaluation of ultra-low energy consumption scheme. The facade effect is light and dynamic, and the horizontal lines like feathers become an important symbol of the building. The gradual lines make the originally long urban interface no longer rigid. As the perspective moves, the lines of facade present a flowing visual dynamic, realizing the unity and variety of the look and feel of a large volume. In addition, the project adopts a large number of BIPV, the roof feather, row upon row of photovoltaic panels to bring renewable energy to the conference center and hotel. The design combines with the sunlight angle and the needs of volume, taking into account the air circulation of the roof equipment, finally obtaining a unique 3D roof shaping. The glass roof of the hotel lobby on the large slope of the podium in the south side adopts photovoltaic integrated design, which achieves the best balance between indoor permeability and sunshade demand, creating a comfortable indoor space.
