Fogarty Finger
The design appears to be straightforward, yet it requires the use of complex geometry. The core structure is pushed out to the building’s perimeter to form a mega-frame. The building’s signature element is its “prow” which generates exceptional layouts for the units and common areas that are located within. The interior spaces have a neutral color palette of warm wood, brass accents, custom fixtures, and tiles, inspired by Feng Shui principles, which complement the building’s contemporary exterior. Flanking the building’s rounded corner are two “swoops” that draw attention upward from the glass-enclosed ground floor retail space; as the facade pulls back, it creates a second-floor terrace before continuing skyward. Dedicated entirely to amenities, the second floor features a double-height fitness room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a children’s playroom, and a library/lounge for adults that opens onto the terrace. A landscaped rooftop terrace—the building’s crown jewel—provides a place where residents can relax and socialize while enjoying views that are nothing short of spectacular.
